Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your Kosmos Hi‑Lo account and its data at any time. We recommend using the in-app account deletion flow for the fastest deletion time. If you no longer have the app installed, you can request deletion from this page.
Delete in the app (recommended)
- Open Kosmos Hi‑Lo on a device where you’re signed in.
- Go to More → Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account is removed immediately.
The button above opens the app if it’s installed on this device. If nothing happens, follow the steps above inside the app.
Request Account Deletion
If you’ve uninstalled the app, enter the username for your Kosmos account below. All deletion requests submitted here are subject to a delay before the account is fully deleted. Opening the app and signing in again before the delay elapses will cancel the deletion request.
For privacy reasons, this page will not tell you whether a username is associated with a Kosmos account.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. When the deletion completes, we:
- Release your username so it’s no longer linked to you.
- Remove every device registered to your account.
- Delete your account record and push-notification tokens from our servers.
- Revoke all active sessions and sign you out everywhere.
Because your messages, calls and attachments are end-to-end encrypted, their contents were never readable by us. Your local data is removed from the device, and copies held by other people in their own conversations remain with them, as on any messaging app.
